Bellaire, TX is located in southwest Harris County. The estimated population is approximately 15,700. The residences are predominately single family homes ranging in size from 1,500 to over 4,000 sf. The City is zoned to the Houston ISD. There are several parks, including Evelyn’s Park the site of the former Teas Nursery, Nature Discovery Center, two aquatic centers operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. The Evergreen Pool has a therapeutic pool. Civic activities centers around the main aquatic center, outdoor pavilion, little league field and the new civic center and police station. The recreation center includes basketball, meeting rooms and gym. Family memberships are available. Bellaire also maintains the Officer Lucy Dog Park near Lofton Park and is enjoyed by many dog lovers.
